Matthew (Matt) Schatzman is President and CEO of NextDecade Corporation (NASDAQ: NEXT), a liquefied natural gas company focused on LNG export projects and associated pipelines in the State of Texas. NextDecade intends to develop a portfolio of LNG projects, including the 27 mtpa Rio Grande LNG export facility in Brownsville, Texas and the 4.5 Bcf/d Rio Bravo Pipeline that would transport natural gas from the Agua Dulce supply area to Rio Grande LNG.

Schatzman graduated from Yale University with a BA in Political Science and has been an active member of several energy industry boards and associations.

Jonty joined BP Oil in 1992, where he performed several roles in operations, trading and refining. In 1998 he took over the business development team looking after the Former Soviet Union, Mediterranean and Africa. During this period, he took on the role of BP nominated director in the setup of a new internet company the Intercontinental Exchange, which is now the world’s third largest exchange.
In 2001 Jonty moved to Vietnam to be the marketing manager for upstream. In this role, he was responsible for negotiating gas sales agreements with the State Oil and Power companies and working with the World Bank to finance new Power stations. Following this, he moved to Angola where he was the commercial manager for BP’s first deep water oil development. Prior to his current role, Jonty was the executive assistant for the head of Integrated Supply & Trading, then Group Strategy, in the corporate centre.
Jonty is currently global head of LNG for BP with a responsibility for the management of upstream contracts in Trinidad, Egypt and North West Shelf, merchant supply from Freeport in the USA and future projects in Coral LNG in Mozambique, Tortue in Mauretania and Senegal and Calcassieu Pass in the USA. The portfolio includes a fleet of ~20 LNG carriers, regas facilities in the USA, UK, Spain and Italy, as well as long term customer contracts globally.

Tony Attah is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Limited and the Vice President of Bonny Gas Transport.
Tony has over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to his current role at Nigeria LNG Limited, he was the Managing Director and Board Chairman of Shell Nigeria E & P Company (SNEPCo), Vice President HSE and Corporate Affairs and Vice President Human Resources (HR). He has managed other technical & non-technical roles in Operations and major projects including being Head of Joint Venture Economics in the commercial function.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Over his distinguished career across Europe, Russia and Africa, Tony has led multi-disciplinary teams across diverse cultures. He is renowned for his strong strategic and commercial mind-set which is underpinned by a solid technical background and excellent leadership capabilities. His goal in NLNG is to sustain the historical excellent performance, move the company to the next level and continue to make NLNG an inspiration to Nigeria and a company committed to helping build a better Nigeria. With revenue exceeding $90bln since 1999, the company will easily rank with other FTSE 100 companies globally and is being managed to world class standards.

Thomas Maurisse started his career in 2007 in the French Ministry of Economy, Finance & Industry where he became, in 2011, Chief of Staff of the State Secretary for Consumption, Small Enterprises, Trade & Services and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister of Economy, Finance & Industry.
Thomas Maurisse joined Total in 2012 in the Refining & Chemicals Branch where he worked successively in Germany as Head of the economic division of the Leuna refinery, then in Belgium as General Manager of the Supply Sales and Optimization activities for the North and East Europe zone.
In 2017, he joined the Exploration & Production Branch as Strategy and Sales Director of Total EP Nigeria.

Alessandro is the head of LNG Business Unit in Eni (Italy).
From 2013 to 2015 he led all Long-Term Gas Supply Negotiations for Eni’s European market.
From 2008 to 2012 he was seconded by Eni to Union Fenosa Gas (Spain), where he served as Managing Director starting 2009. In that period he was also Board member in the companies owning the Damietta liquefaction plant in Egypt and the Qalhat LNG train in Oman.
Formerly he was responsible for Eni’s international gas pipelines, working with various roles for pipeline companies as Trans Austria Gasleitung, Transitgas (Switzerland), TENP (Germany), Transmed and Trans Tunisian Pipeline. He has been member of the Board of Directors of Interconnector (UK) for several years to July 2012.

Justin Bird is responsible for marketing and commercial development of Sempra LNG’s five LNG projects. Previously, he was Sempra LNG’s chief development officer.
Bird has served as vice president and gas infrastructure special counsel and vice president of compliance and governance, and corporate secretary for Sempra Energy. He was director of project finance, leading the successful $7.4 billion financing of the Cameron LNG liquefaction export project.
Bird holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arizona State University and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Bird serves on the board of directors for IEnova, Sempra’s subsidiary in Mexico.

Tarek Souki joined Tellurian as Senior Vice President - LNG Marketing and Trading in August 2016. Since joining, he has created the marketing team tasked with commercializing the Driftwood Project. Additionally, Tarek has overseen the build out of Tellurian’s LNG trading group. Prior to Tellurian, Tarek was VP of Finance and Business Development at Cheniere Marketing in charge of finance for the marketing and trading group. He also led the build out of the middle and back office functions for Cheniere’s trading desk. Before Cheniere, Tarek spent 14 years in working in the banking industry, including most recently at Credit Suisse in New York and London. There he specialized corporate and project finance for the resources sector. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

He has 30 years of experience working in the international oil and natural gas industry and began his career as a wireline engineer working for Schlumberger. Following his doctoral studies, he spent eight years in Russia with Royal Dutch Shell, including an assignment with Sakhalin Energy Investment Company, where he marketed the first sales of Russian LNG into the Asia-Pacific. Following a corporate planning assignment with Shell in Houston, Dr Seck joined Qatargas Operating Company where he worked six years as Assistant Director, LNG Marketing, East of Suez, with the responsibility for maintaining and growing Qatargas’ LNG sales portfolio throughout the Asia-Pacific region. At the beginning of 2015, he joined Uniper Global Commodities as Regional Head of LNG, Asia, based in Singapore. In November 2016 he joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as VP LNG Marketing & Shipping and led a team which successfully secured 11 MTPA of long-term LNG sales which culminated in the final investment decision of the Mozambique LNG project in June 2019. In September 2019 Total acquired the Anadarko’s interest in the Mozambique LNG project and became the Operator of the Area 1 Concession.
Dr Seck holds a PhD from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland and a Bachelor of Science in geological engineering from Queen’s University, Canada.

Markus Hector is General Manager, LNG Market Development in Shell. He champions the development of energy solutions for customers, enabling access to LNG as a fuel for power, industrial and commercial use or as a transportation fuel.
Markus has held leadership positions across Upstream, Downstream Gas, Business Development and Trading in Europe, Africa, the East and the United States for over 20 years, included Global Head of LNG Supply and Sales, Commercial Development Director for Natural Gas, as well as leading several business areas in Shell’s LNG Trading businesses in London and Houston, and engineering and construction project management roles.
Developing access to LNG and gas for new customers and markets is Markus’ passion. He strongly believes in the benefit gas brings to people, business and society at large, playing an important role in our Energy Transition to a cleaner and sustainable Energy system.

He is today in charge of Development & co-venturing for Power Projects in Africa with Wärtsilä Energy Business, whose global strategy is to provide gas fired flexible generation as a complement to Renewables. Dr. Symeon Kassianides is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Hyperion Systems Engineering Group. He holds a PhD and DIC in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London (UK), a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and has extensive experience in project execution and management of technology in the process manufacturing industries. David COLSON is a graduate in Engineering & Commerce from Birmingham University (B. Eng. / B. Com.) and has been employed as a Project & Commercial Manager within the automotive industry with major OEM’s. He gained experience in ship propulsion through the construction of test-beds for vessel marine diesel engines.
He joined Gaztransport & Technigaz in 2004 as Project Manager for Samsung Heavy Industries with the responsibility of all project activities. He was based on-site in Korea from May 2007-2008 as the senior liaison between SHI and GTT during the construction of the Qatari large LNGC.
Under the new GTT organization established on October 1st 2010, he was appointed Commercial Vice-President and has responsibility for the GTT Commercial team of Licensee Key Account Managers, the Business Development Team, Communication, and Strategy and Marketing. The Commercial team expanded in October 2016 with the creation of the dedicated team for LNG as Fuel applications.

Bruce Moore is Senior LNG Broker for Howe Robinson Partners, London, having previously worked for 23 years for BP. He has worked across the LNG value chain, from upstream gas field investment and operations, vessel finance, construction and chartering, to downstream gas market development. He has lead negotiating teams for the construction and finance of a range of tankers, offshore support ships, tugs and barges as well as conventional LNG vessels. He holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine from Oxford University.

Susannah Pierce is Director of Corporate Affairs, LNG Canada – A joint venture of Shell, Petronas, Mitsubishi, PetroChina and Kogas. Susannah joined LNG Canada in 2013 and over 6 years has been responsible for the project’s federal and provincial regulatory approvals, indigenous relations and negotiations, government relations, media relations, community consultation and communications. Her leadership underpinned LNG Canada’s Final Investment Decision in October 2018, the largest private sector investment in Canadian history.
Prior to her role in LNG Canada, Susannah held several high-level senior management positions within Shell as well as Director, Government Affairs for TransCanada Pipelines based in Washington, DC and New York City. Susannah serves on the Board of Directors of the following non-profit organizations: The Vancouver Police Foundation, The BCBC Board of Governors, The Fraser Institute and The Canadian Global Affairs Institute. Susannah lives in Vancouver with her two children, Robert and Gabriela.

Lisa Fischer works as a Senior Policy Advisor in E3G’s London office. Her work concentrates on EU energy, infrastructure and climate change policy and she is leading E3G’s work on the transition of the gas sector to a fully decarbonised world. Lisa joined E3G in July 2016 after working as an analyst for the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (now BEIS) and the UK Department for Transport leading the analysis for major infrastructure and climate finance business cases. She holds a MSc in Political Economy of Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London as well as a BA in International Relations from the Technical University of Dresden in Germany.
