Gas Natural Açu
Bernardo Perseke is the Chief Executive Officer of GNA – Gas Natural Açu. GNA is a joint venture among Prumo Logistica, BP and Siemens and is currently developing a 3.0GW LNG-to-Power project at the Port of Açu In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which happens to be the biggest LNG-to-wire project in Latin America.
GNA, besides such 3.0GW already under construction, has additional 3.0GW licensed at the same site and best positioned to attract the gas coming from the Brazilian pre-salt together with the ability to ship if to the Brazilian gas network.
Bernardo has more than 15 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure and Project Finance sectors. Prior to GNA he was the CEO of BP Marine in Brazil, a joint-venture between Prumo Logistica and BP and before it, has developed other LNG-to-power projects in Brazil, was the General Counsel and Chief Admin Officer at CCX and was the leader of the M&A and project finance team of MPX (now ENEVA). Bernardo is a lawyer with post graduate studies at INSEAD in France/Singapore.
