Mr. Nohata has been working for Tokyo Gas for more than 30 years since joining in 1984. Through his career with the company, he has engaged in various fields such as overseas business development, infrastructure development, energy sales & service planning, energy solution business, LNG procurement and power business, as well as experiencing as President & CEO of Tokyo Gas Engineering Solution, subsidiary of Tokyo Gas Co.Ltd., specializing in engineering business.
He holds a Bachelor and Master of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Hiroki Sato is managing executive officer of JERA Co., Inc. and senior operating officer of its Business Development Department. He also serves as non-executive CEO of JERA Americas.
Prior to assuming his current positions in April 2019, as JERA’s senior executive vice president and chief fuel transaction officer from July 2016, Mr. Sato was involved in all of the company’s LNG procurement and sales activities, including spot procurement, as the world’s largest buyer of LNG (35 million tons/year). In the course of his career, he has devoted his energies to creating business opportunities by leveraging a global networking of connections built through long experience.
With Chemical Engineering as the major in university, Jane Liao continued her education and received MSc degree from National Tsing-hua University, Taiwan followed by another Master degree in Laws from CEPMLP, University of Dundee, UK. She has recently completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP191) from Harvard Business School.
Jane started her career as a chemist at Exploration & Development Research Institute of CPC. In 1997, she was transferred to Supply Division in charge of LNG /LPG Purchase and Gas Sale Contracts. Since March 2015, she has become the Deputy CEO of Natural Gas Business of CPC Corporation, Taiwan.
Jillian (Jill) Evanko is President and Chief Executive Officer of Chart Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTLS), serving in this capacity since June of 2018. Ms. Evanko joined Chart in February of 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Chart, Jill was the Chief Financial Officer of Truck-Lite Co., LLC as well as having held multiple operational and financial executive positions at Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Dover in 2004, Ms. Evanko worked in valuation services at Arthur Andersen, LLP and held financial roles for Honeywell and Sony Corporation of America. In addition to serving on Chart’s Board of Directors, Ms. Evanko also serves as an independent director of the Board of Alliant Energy and its subsidiaries (NASDAQ: LNT).
Jill received a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Salle University. She is the ExxonMobil Power Play Rainmaker award winner for 2020 and is a finalist for the S&P Global Platts Energy Award for Chief Trailblazer in 2020.
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 from the Politecnico di Milano, he fulfilled his military service as an Officer in the Italian Army.
In 2000 he was awarded with a scholarship as a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano, where he was involved in research projects and teaching activities.
In 2001 he joined McKinsey.
He obtained a Master in Business Administration from Columbia University, New York, in 2005.
After a short experience in Citgroup in New York, he continued his career in McKinsey, mostly dealing with projects in the Oil & Gas and Banking & Insurance sectors.
In 2007 he joined Eni in the Office of the CEO supporting the Top Management for corporate strategy and group-level projects.
Between 2008 and 2016 he worked in the Gas & Power Business Unit of Eni, first as Senior Vice President for International Sales and later as Executive Vice President for International Markets and LNG Activities.
In November 2016 he became Executive Vice President for Portfolio Strategy and Long Term Gas Negotiations in the newly established Midstream business of Eni with the responsibility to oversee the gas supply portfolio management and the relationships with long term gas suppliers.
In February 2018 he was appointed Executive Vice President Business Unit Gas. In this role he managed the entire midstream wholesale gas value chain, including supply and trading activities. In parallel he was also appointed EVP Trading & Origination in Eni Trading & Shipping S.p.A. (the fully owned subsidiary of Eni S.p.A. in charge of all the trading operations within the group).
In April 2019 he was appointed Chief Gas & Lng Marketing and Power Officer.
He is the Chairman and CEO in charge of Gas, Lng and Power activities of Eni Trading & Shipping S.p.A.
He is a member of the Board of Directors in Union Fenosa Gas, a JV between Eni and Naturgy, and in BlueStream, a JV between Eni and Gazprom.
He is the President of Anigas, the Italian gas business Association, and a fellow of the Governing Board of Eurogas, the European gas business Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of GIIGNL, the International Group of LNG Importers.
Following his studies which commenced with a bachelor’s degree in geology from Newcastle University in 1979 and then a petroleum geology master’s degree from Imperial College London in 1983, Martin was employed by BG Group plc and its predecessor companies, retiring after 32 years in February 2014 as chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors.
He’s managed all forms of enterprise in the energy industry, has established a strong external reputation in the international gas business and is largely credited with being the key architect of BG Group’s world class Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) business. In recognition of this, in 2011 he was the first recipient of the CWC Group LNG Executive of the Year award.
He was previously (2004 – 2009) a non-executive director of Severn Trent plc, an integrated water and environmental company. He is a former director of SIGTTO, the international organization representing gas tanker and gas terminal operators worldwide. From 2008 to 2014 he was a vice president and board member of the International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL). Between 2015, and 2018 he was the chairman of TPH International, a boutique investment bank based in Houston, Texas.
In January 2014, he was appointed as a non-executive director of BUPA, an international healthcare group. He sits on the nominations committee and is chairman of the remuneration committee. He also sits on the board of Bupa Arabia, a JV company listed on the Saudi Arabian Tadawul and based in Jeddah.
In June 2014, he was appointed a non-executive director of CCC Energy. In February 2016, he co-founded Tellurian Inc. with Charif Souki and is now the vice chairman. Tellurian is developing a 27.5 mtpa LNG export project in Louisiana and is listed on the Nasdaq. In March 2017, Martin was appointed as vice-chairman of Hakluyt North America a company which provides independent, strategic advice to the world’s leading multinationals and financial institutions on complex issues.
In March 2018 he was appointed by Moelis and Company as Chairman of its global energy group.

Shamsairi M Ibrahim is the Vice President of LNG Marketing & Trading in PETRONAS. In this role, he oversees the marketing and trading of LNG in Asia, Europe and the Americas on top of energy commodities trading in the UK and Europe.
He started his career in PETRONAS in 1991 as a Marketing Executive in Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd (“MLNG”) and was transferred to Malaysian International Trading Corporation (Japan) Sdn. Bhd. (“MITCO”) in 1999. He returned to MLNG in 2004, where he held multiple positions including roles in marketing and operations in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan markets.
In 2008, Shamsairi ventured in chemical business after seconded to Optimal Group of
Companies. His career within petrochemical business was further cemented as he led the
Commercial — Olefins & Derivatives Department and later the Marketing and Sales Division for the PETRONAS Chemical Group.
In 2017, he was appointed as the CEO of PETRONAS Chemicals Marketing (Labuan) Ltd. and the Head of Commercial for PETRONAS Chemical Group Berhad, responsible for the Group’s overall commercial excellence. Shamsairi also sits on several Boards within the PETRONAS Group of Companies.
He graduated with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National College of Technology, Japan and obtained an Executive MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
