Andree Stracke

Head of LNG Origination Long Term Gas Supply and Capacity,
RWE Supply & Trading GmbH

As RWE Supply & Trading’s Global Head of LNG Origination, Long Term Gas Supply & Capacity, Andree Stracke is in charge of the existing and principal part of RWE Supply & Trading’s LNG business including development of all LNG origination transactions and to secure longer term LNG supply for the RWE portfolio. As Chief Commercial Officer at Excelerate Energy, Andree directed US commercial strategy including optimisation of LNG contracts across the Atlantic and Pacific gas markets and managing the company’s core business through trading operations for the US market as well as international ports from 2008 until 2011. Prior to joining Excelerate Energy, Andree successfully managed gas trading operations for RWEST in Europe. He joined RWEST in July 1999 and headed the set up of the company’s structured gas trading desk. Before his time at RWE, Andree was UK Purchase Manager for Wingas GmbH, a joint venture between the world’s largest producer of natural gas, Gazprom and Wintershall.
