Babs Omotowa

Managing Director,
Nigeria LNG Ltd

Holds a Degree in Industrial Chemistry and a MBA(Operations Research) from the University of Ilorin. He also holds a MBA (Supply Chain Management) from University of Leicester, United Kingdom. After a brief stint as a chemistry and mathematics teacher in Bishop Smith College, Ilorin, he joined Shell Petroleum Development Company in 1993 as a management trainee and rose rapidly to Head, Operations Support, Warri, before he went on international assignments with Shell in the United Kingdom, Holland, and Norway, serving variously as Production Asset Manager, Shipping Manager and Business Improvement Manager. In 2010, he was appointed a Director of the West African Pipeline Company (WAPCO). Until his appointment in Nigeria LNG Limited, Babs was Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics for Shell companies in Sub-Sahara Africa.
